As a manager, it is important to manage your time and your staffs so you can achieve maximum result that you and your company want. There are no standard operating procedures can be followed to achieve them. Each manager has own ways depends on his/her educational backgrounds and, of course, daily working customs. Actually, you could get the major points on how to manage your jobs.
1. You have to know your job description. It is about what you must do, with whom you will work, what kind of target you should reach or to whom you should talk and give your responsibility.
2. Communication is the best way to introduce your vision and mission. You should undertake a meeting with your staffs to explain your mission, periodically. Please remember, you can’t finish your jobs alone. This is a team and you are the man who in charge. So, everything you do or say will be seen by your underline staff and your boss.
3. Be wise. People are in your team have different background and agenda. You have to make them comfort with the circumstance you make. They also have different ways to express their ideas and feelings. Sometime, a quite man gives brilliant ideas. Contrary, the big mouth usually gets nothing.
4. Time management is the most important part of management system. Usually, a proposal seem very perfect and give optimizing felling that can be reach. But when it is implemented, you may see it has many weaknesses.
Point of view
1. Ask the authority to get the clearance who is in charge. By getting the clearance, you will be easier to undergo your job.
2. Describe the detail of job to every staff you have.
3. Make cooperation between you and others division that lies to your jobs description.
4. Don’t be shy to ask suggestion from the more experienced man whenever you get problem.
